Artak S. Sargsyan was born on July 13, 1973 in Yerevan.

Mr. Sargsyan graduated from Armenian Agricultural Academy in 2001 with a specialization in Management and Economy of Agricultural Production. He is the president of SAS group since 2001.

He was elected as a deputy from constituent district N 44 on September 20, 2004.

Till 22 May 2006 he was a member of  the Rule of Law Party and Faction.

From 25 May 2006 he is a member of the "Entrepreneur" deputy group. He sits on the NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs. From Jule 31, 2006 he is a member of the Republican Party of Armenia. 


Mr. Sargsyan is married and has two children.
