1988 - 1989 - Served in the Soviet Army.

1993 - Graduated from the Turkish Department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Yerevan State University. Turkologist.

1993 -1995 - Director of the Armenian Documentary Center.

1993 -1995 - Head of the Turkish section of “Yerkir” daily and “Azatamart” weekly.

2001 - 2004 - Editor-in-Chief of “Yerkir” weekly.

2004 - 2021 - Director of news and political programs of “Yerkir Media” TV Company.

Since 1990 - Member of the ARF.

1990 - 1995 - Member of the board of the ARF “Nikol Aghbalyan” student union.

1997- 2005 - Member of the Supreme Body of the Armenia of the ARF.

2006 - 2007 - Member of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, ARF). Member of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly, Secretary of the ARF faction.

June 20, 2021 - Elected Member of the National Assembly from the national electoral list of the “Armenia” alliance of parties.

Author of a number of documentaries.

Married with two children.
