Spartak Seyranyan was born on May 23, 1963 in the village of Salda in the Akhalkhalak region, Republic of Georgia.
In 1986 he graduated from Yerevan State University, faculty of history, with a degree of historian, teacher of history and public science.
From 1980-1981 he worked at "Yeraz" factory as a worker.
From 1986-1989 - worked at the State Museum of Ethnography of Armenia as a science worker
From 1993-1997 - worked at the "National Problem and Genocide Research Center" organization as an Executive Director.
From 1997-2001 - worked at the "Hayots Ashkhar" newspaper as a reporter and deputy editor-in -chief.
From 2001-2006 - worked at "‘Noravank" Science Educational Fund.
From 2004 to June 2006 - worked as editor-in-chief of the official newspaper "Yerkir" of the Supreme Body of Armenia's ARF.
On June 14, 2006 he was elected deputy of the RA National Assembly from Armenian Revolutionary Federation electoral roll.
He is a member of the Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs. He is a Member of Armenian Revolutionary Federation faction. He is a Member of Armenian Revolutionary Federation.
Mr. Seyranyan is married and has two sons.
