He was born on April 1, 1950 in Yerevan.
In 1969-1971 he served in the Soviet Army.
In 1971-1974 he worked in the Yerevan Car Spares factory as a master shift.
From 1971 he is involved in political activity. He has been a member of underground National United Party. In 1974-1984 he was condemned by the article enshrined for anti-Soviet agitation and propaganda.
In 1984-1990 he worked in several factories of Yerevan in different posts.
In 2002-2007 he worked as an assistant to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
In 2000 he awarded a letter of thanks of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia. In 2005 he was awarded a medal Garegin Nzhdeh and memorial medal of Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
On May 12, 2007 he was elected as a deputy of the National Assembly by proportional electoral system from the Republican Party of Armenia. He is a member of the RPA board, RPA Deputy Chairman.
He is married, has one child.
