He was born on March 10, 1966 in the village of Small Gondura in Bogdanovka region of the Georgian SSR.
In 1991 he graduated from the faculty of Finance-Counting of Yerevan Institute of National Economy. He is an economist, financier.
1991-1992 he worked as a commercial director in the Mini Max experimental enterprise. 1992-1993 he worked as a leading specialist in the united fund of the Health Care and State Security of Georgia. 1993-1994 he worked as an economist in the Tatev branch of Ardshinbank. In 1994 he worked as a first class specialist in the department of regulating the activity of the organisations of Banking and Finance-Banking in the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia. 1994-1996 he worked as an economist in the Spandarian branch of Ardshinbank. 1996-1997 he worked deputy manager of the Abovian branch in the Armeconombank, then 1997-1998 - manager. 1999-2002 he worked manager in the Khorhrdayin (Soviet) branch of Armeconombank. 2002-2003 he was adviser of Kentron Community of Yerevan. 2003-2006 he was manager of the Komitas branch of Unibank CJSC. In 2003 he has elected a co-chairman of the Georgian Armenians’ Unity NGO. 2006-2007 he was president of Abovian branch of the ITB International Trading Bank.
On May 12, 2007 he was elected a deputy of the National Assembly by the proportional electoral system from the Republican Party of Armenia.
He is married and has two children.
