Artsruni Aghajanyan was born on November 21, 1955 in Artik.
In 1979 he graduated from Yerevan National Economy Institute. He is an economist.
1979-1981 he served in the Soviet army.
1981-1986 he worked as an instructor in the executive committee of Artik Regional Council. 1986-1988 – director of Horom hosiery. 1988-1999 – deputy director of Artik hosiery factory.
In April-August 1994 he participated in the Artsakh defense battles.
1999-2003 - deputy of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, Country of Law Party). He was a member of the NA Standing Committee on Social Affairs, Health Care and Environmental Protection. He was a member of the Country of Law Faction.
2003-2005 he was deputy governor of Shirak region. 2005-2006 – RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs. 2006-2008 he was engaged in the activities of the Country of Law Party.
On April 23, 2008 he was elected a deputy of the National Assembly from the proportional electoral system of Country of Law Party. He is a member of the political board of the Country of Law Party.
He is married and has four children.
