Ara Aramyan
Born on March 11, 1956 in Charentsavan.

Reserve lieutenant.

1978 - Graduated from the Mechanical Faculty of the Yerevan K. Marx Polytechnic Institute. Engineer-mechanic.

1978 - 1985 - Engineer-technologist, a Master of mechanical workshop, Head of the first workshop, Head of the workshop of non-standard equipment, Chief Mechanic in the Charentsavan “NIIKHIT” factory.

1985 - 1993  - Deputy Director of the Charentsavan “NIIKHIT” factory.

1993 - Director of the factory “Kayts.”

1996 - Chairman of the CJSC “Kayts.”

2003 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly by proportional electoral system from the “Rule of Law” Party.

2003 - 2004 - Minister of Urban Development of the Republic of Armenia.

2004 - 2006 - Chief Advisor to the President of the National Assembly.

2006 - 2012 - Chairman of the Council of the CJSC “Kayts.”

May 6, 2012 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly by the proportional electoral system from the “Prosperous Armenia” Party.

Married, with two children.
