1980 - Graduated from the Dental Faculty of the Yerevan M. Heratsi State Medical Institute.

1987 - Postgraduate of the Moscow Central Research Institute of Dentistry. Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor.

1980 - 1988 - Doctor and dentist in the hospital of Yerevan garrison.

1988 - 1989 - Postgraduate student of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry of the Yerevan State Medical Academy.

1988 - 1996 - Scientific Secretary of the Dental Faculty.

1994 - 2006 - Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry of the YSMU (Yerevan State Medical University).

2000 - 2006 - Head of the Department of Prevention of Dental Diseases and Pediatric Dentistry of the YSMU.

2001 - 2006 - Dean of the Dental Faculty of the YSMU.

2005 - 2006 - Head of the University Dental Clinic #2 of the YSMU.

2006 - 2007 - Deputy Director of the Dental School of the Armenian-French College.

2007 - 2008 - Professor of the Department of Family Dentistry of the YSMU.

Since 2009 - Professor of the Therapy and Family Dentistry of the YSMU.

Since 2011 - Scientific Secretary of the Specialized Council for Ophthalmology, and Dentistry “025”.

April 2, 2017 - Elected Member of the National Assembly from the national electoral list of the “Tsarukyan” alliance of parties.

Awarded gold Medals of the YSMU (2000-2008), awarded a number of honorable certificates.

Author of 120 scientific articles, 7 rationalization proposals, 2 inventions, 12 methodical manuals. Head of 8 scientific theses.

Married, with two children.
