Spartak Seyranyan
Born on May 23, 1963 in the village of Sulda of the Akhalkalaki region of the Republic of Georgia.

1986 - Graduated from the Faculty of History of the Yerevan State University. Historian, teacher of history and social science. Reserve lieutenant-colonel.

1980 -1981 - Worker at “Yeraz” factory.

1986 -1989 - Researcher at the State Museum of Ethnography of Armenia.

1993 -1997 - Executive Director of the NGO “Center for the Study of National Issues and Genocides.” 1997 - 2001 - Journalist and deputy Editor of “Hayots Ashkharh” Daily.

2001 - 2006 - Deputy Director of “Noravank” Scientific-Educational Fund.

2004 - 2006 - Editor-in-chief of “Yerkir” newspaper.

2007 June - December - Director of the “Center “Yerevan” for the Armenian Experts.” 2008 January - May, editor of “Yerkir” newspaper.

2008 - 2009 - Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia.

Since 1989 - Member of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party.

2006 -2007 - Member of Parliament (proportional electoral system, ARF).

Member of the Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs of the National Assembly. Member of the ARF faction.

May 24, 2018 - Elected Member of Parliament by the ARF proportional electoral list.

Married, with two children.
