FUNCTIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT FOR AUTOMATIC MANAGEMENT AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS

1. The Department, for the implementation of the tasks assigned to it within the scope of its powers, shall perform the following functions:

1) shall coordinate information, related technology, software-based service of network information equipment of the National Assembly and its bodies, sessions, sittings of the standing committees, Council, and parliamentary hearings;

2) shall provide service for stationary and laptop computers including the necessary software, and shall provide an uninterrupted and normal work;

3) shall implement other functions established by law.

FUNCTIONS OF THE INTERNET RESOURCES AND APPENDIX SERVICE DIVISION 

2. The Internet Resources and Appendix Service Division, for the implementation of the tasks assigned to it within the scope of its powers, shall perform the following functions:

1) shall implement programming of the official website of the National Assembly (www.parliament.am, Internet and web pages) and programming of a unified information system established on the basis of the data banks incorporated within it, the establishment of new data banks, and testing;

2) shall perform the software service of websites and Internet applications of the National Assembly. If necessary, shall assist in mastering the skills of using them; 

3) shall offer new web solutions or application solutions for Internet in order to increase the efficiency of work and shall solve the internet tasks of the National Assembly, shall submit technical tasks for solutions and proposals for procurements if necessary;

4) shall implement other functions established by law.

SOFTWARE, DEVICES AND NETWORKING SERVICE DIVISION

3. The Software, Devices and Networking Service Division, for the implementation of the tasks assigned to it within the scope of its powers, shall perform the following functions:

1) shall service the stationary and laptop computers providing the necessary software, and shall provide an uninterrupted and normal work. Shall install computers and shall transfer them to a new user in working condition;

2) shall provide informational,  technological, software-based service of network information equipment of the National Assembly and its bodies, sessions, sittings of the standing committees, sittings of the Council, and parliamentary hearings;

3) shall provide service for the printing and copying equipment, performing their routine maintenance, refueling, installation and preparation for use;

4) shall provide service, shall expand and, and shall update the internal network if necessary, shall provide the availability of the Internet and internal resources at the required points;

5) shall provide service, expand, and, and update the telephone network and stations. Shall provide an uninterrupted and normal telephone communication;

6) shall provide service for the server system. Shall provide security, turnover and archiving of internal and circulating resources. Shall provide security and modernization of those systems as much as possible;

7) shall serve and provide the security for the video-audio recording system. Shall provide its ability to view at the required points;

8) shall organize and, if necessary, shall provide technical equipment for sittings (microphones, video recording, broadcasting and archiving, translation systems, voting systems, etc.);

9) shall offer new solutions and technical tasks based on arising problems and system upgrades;

10) shall submit procurement proposals if necessary in order to provide  the above mentioned work;

11)  shall implement other functions established by law.
