On February 23, during the working sitting organized by the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment the draft law on Inter-Community Associations authored by the RA Government passed in the first reading and the recommendations made on it. The RA NA deputies, the RA First Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Vache Terteryan, representatives of the NGOs and the experts of the sphere took part in the discussion.
The key speaker Vache Terteryan presented the accepted and non accepted recommendations, noting that a revised draft law will be presented to the parliament in the second reading.
During the sitting the issues concerning the disputable provisions of the bill, the local self-government bodies and the enlargement of the communities were discussed.
