On March 1, at the extraordinary sitting moderated by Vardevan Grigoryan the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment debated in the second reading and endorsed the draft law on Inter-Community Associations with the enclosed legislative package authored by the government.

The RA First Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Vache Terteryan detailed the deputies' presented recommendations and informed that the executive accepted most part of them, as a result of which, a number of provisions of the law were rewritten.

The Deputy Chair of the Committee Araik Hovhannisyan urged his colleagues to endorse the revised draft law.

The Committee proposed to include the draft law on Inter-Community Associations in the agenda of the extraordinary sitting to be convened in the future.
