On March 6, the visit of the delegation of Armenia-USA Friendship Group of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia to the United States of America began. Within the framework of the visit the members of the delegation had a meeting with the experts of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. At the meeting they touched upon issues relating to the global and regional security and the modern problems of the RA foreign policy and the Armenian-American relations.

On the same day the members of the delegation had a meeting with the members of the Armenian National Committee of America. In the framework of the meeting the sides talked about the items included in the agenda of the Armenian-American relations. In the evening at Saint Mary Armenian Apostolic Church in Washington a reception was organized in honour of the delegation on behalf of the Armenian community.
