On March 16, the delegation of the RA NA Deputy Speaker, Head of the CSTO PA Observation Mission Eduard Sharmazanov met with the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of Saint Petersburg Vyacheslav Makarov in Mariinsky Palace of Saint Petersburg.

The sides highlighted the strategic ally character of the Armenian-Russian centuries-old relations and expressed readiness to develop them.

The participation of the CSTO PA Observation Mission in the RF presidential elections and the importance of democratic holding of the elections were touched upon.

In Eduard Sharmazanov’s word, it is important that the electoral process will be of exclusively democratic character in the CSTO all member countries.

Let us note that the RA NA deputies Gagik Melikyan, Tatshat Vardapetyan and the Permanent Representative of the RA National Assembly to IPA CIS Hayk Chilingaryan took part in the meeting.
