On March 21, the Session of the Political Affairs Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie (AFP) continued its work in the RA National Assembly. A number of issues were discussed, and reports were made. The representative from Switzerland Anne Seydoux-Christe made a report on Death Penalty in Francophonie Territory .

The Committee members also touched upon the statute items, particularly information for the new membership bids, statute amendments and the study of the AFP young parliamentarians’ network draft statute.

The Head of the RA NA delegation to AFP Margarit Yesayan presented the Draft Statement among the other agenda items and it was unanimously adopted.

A decision was made to hold the next session of the Committee in Quebec within the framework of the plenary session on July 5-10.
