On March 26, on the initiative of the RA NA Tsarukyan Faction parliamentary hearings on the theme on Establishing the Ways of Drugs, Writing Recipes, Dispensing Drugs (including via electronic means), the Order of Accounting the Drugs and Medicine, where the deputies, representatives of the NGOs and specialists of the sphere took part.

The RA Deputy Minister of Health Care Sergey Khachatryan presented in detail the situation in the system in recent years.

The questions addressed to the Deputy Minister were related to the expediency of the new order of dispensing drugs, the quality, prices of the drugs, the composition of the medicine, the import of medicine and the corruption risks occurring during the sale, the policy being pursued in the sphere and other problems.  Distinct clarifications were given to all questions.

In her speech the RA NA deputy, member of Tsarukyan Faction Marina Margaryan touched upon the possible corruption as a consequence of the investment of the new order of getting medicine and indicated a number of problems existing in the system.

The Director of the Scientific Centre of Drug and Medical Technology Expertise , Doctor-Professor of Medical Sciences Hakob Topchyan has noted the circulation of medicine in the whole world is regulated by law, and has considered the relevant decision of the government presented on time.

The Head of the Clinical Pharmacology of Yerevan M. Heratsi State Medical University, Doctor-Professor of Medical Sciences Narine Mirzoyan highlighted the decision of the government and noted that the medicine is a powerful weapon, and it should not be found in the non specialist’s hand.

The RA NA deputy Naira Zohrabyan in her word has noted that first it is necessary to solve the prior problems existing in the sphere.

The speakers mainly emphasized that the issues of public sounding should be under public debate.

In his final speech the Secretary of the RA NA Tsarukyan Faction, the RA NA deputy Vahe Enfiajyan thanked the participants for the concerned and comprehensive debate and noted that issue had been repeatedly considered in the Faction, there were a number of recommendations and they should be presented to the Ministry of Health Care.
