On June 1, at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Rustam Makhmudyan and Gagik Minasyan the Annual Report on Execution of the RA State Budget for 2017 was debated, which related to the executive sheets of the revenues and expenditures of the Staffs of the RA power state and judicial bodies and Human Rights Defender.
The RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan, the RA Deputy Head of the Staff of the President of the Republic, the Head of the RA Government Staff Edward Aghajanyan and the RA NA Chief of Staff-Secretary General Ara Saghatelyan presented the financial indices of the mentioned spheres.
The latter informed that to provide the transparency of the parliament activity the NA Staff prepared and broadcast on Public TV 39 Parliamentary Week TV series. The work of the RA NA regular sittings and extraordinary sessions was covered. Live broadcast of about 195 NA regular sittings and extraordinary sessions, 11 sittings of the Standing Committees and 7 parliamentary hearings were implemented. 651 information materials, 75 addresses, 10 statements, about 3000 photos and video materials were issued. 201 information materials on the official, working meetings and visits of the RA NA President, Vice Presidents were prepared and released. 61 information materials on covering the activities of the RA NA official delegations in the international structures and the works of the Committees on Inter-Parliamentary Committees were prepared and released.
At the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Armen Ashotyan and Gagik Minasyan the Annual Report on Execution of the RA State Budget for 2017 was also debated.
The RA Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and the RA Minister of Diaspora Mkhitar Hayrapetyan presented the financial indices of the relevant spheres.
The representatives of the sphere also answered the MPs’ questions, which related to some directions of the RA pursued policy, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the works of the RA diplomatic representations and the enforcement of the EU-RA Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement.
