At June 28 Plenary Session of Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, which mainly went on with the discussions on ‘the Azerbaijani laundry,’ the availability of the systemized bribery in Azerbaijan and fighting against it, the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, the Head of the Armenian delegation Armen Ashotyan delivered a speech on the consequences of political corruption and fighting against it.

In his word the Committee Chairman highlighted the transparent and comprehensive investigation of the corruption risks both on the international and national levels by the manifestation of any political corruption and zero tolerance towards bribery.

Armen Ashotyan called on the European Parliament and the Eastern Partnership countries to undertake corresponding means towards the politicians of their countries, whose names connected with the transparent and corruption deals are mentioned in the international reports, the political groups of the European Parliament to cleanse their political parties from the corruption elements for preserving the ethic nature and character of the European political parties.

The Committee Chairman highlighted the investment of the concrete practical mechanisms, particularly, the creation of the Committees on Ethics for the exclusion of the corruption deals in the International Parliamentary Assemblies and the provision of the ethical behaviour in terms of politics.
