On September 11, the members of the RA NA RPA, ARF, Yelq/Way Out factions Ruzanna Muradyan, Ruzanna Arakelyan, Andranik Karapetyan, Lena Nazaryan and Edmon Marukyan met with the delegation led by the Mayor of the U.S. Glendale Zareh Sinanyan, including the deputies of California State Assembly and the representatives of the information technology sphere. The visit of the delegation was implemented at the initiative of the Armenian Cause Committee.

According to Zareh Sinanyan, the goal of the visit is the cooperation in the sphere of the information technology, the strengthening of the existing ties and the creation of the new ones.

The Mayor of Glendale has noted that the political processes occurred in Armenia in recent months has caused certain interest among the business circles, and they are interested in the possibility of making investments in our country. The delegation had numerous meetings with the specialists of the sphere, Armenian-American Business Forum was held and issues on further cooperation were discussed.

“The businessmen are interested in the legislation relating to the sphere and provision of some tax privileges,” Zareh Sinanyan said and noted that the possible investors expected the Armenian legislators’ support in that matter.

The Armenian MPs assured that all programs that would promote the development of Armenia would continue.

The interlocutors discussed issues regarding the sphere of education, the students’ exchange program and the exchange of program.
