On September 26, a regular sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security moderated by Koryun Nahapetyan was held, where the bill on Making Amendment and Addendum to the RA Law on Police was debated in the first reading.

By the proposal of the Deputy Head of the RA Police Hovhannes Kocharyan the voting of the bill was postponed: it will be held at the coming sitting of the Committee after presenting the revised version.

Afterwards the Committee approved the results of the parliamentary hearings on the theme Strengthening and Development of Facing Disaster held on 25 June 2018.

At the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights the bill authored by the RA NA deputy Naira Zohrabyan on Amending the RA Criminal Code was postponed up to two months.
