“I learnt with deep pain about the death of our great compatriot, world-wide singer, National Hero of Armenia Charles Aznavour. In the world singing art he was a whole era, who will always remain with humanity, will remain with more than eight hundred authored songs, and many of them have become the eternal pearls of the world singing art.

If as a singer and author of songs Charles Aznavour was teaching how to create, how to perfectly perform his unique chansons very close to all of us, then as a man and as a citizen, was teaching to love the Motherland with selfless love. And since the mid-century of the twentieth century he had as much great contribution to the development of singing art as much huge contribution he had to eliminating Spitak disastrous earthquake consequences through the Fund Azanvour for Armenia/ Aznavour pour l'Arménie. a nd ‘For You Armenia’/Pour toi Arménie song became a new and peculiar hymn of mercy in the world.

Today, the world genuinely lost the prominent singer.
