On April 11 RA NA Speaker Artur Baghdasaryan met with Levon Ananyan, Chairman of the Armenian Writers’ Union (AWU) and 25 young Armenian writers from Armenia, Lebanon, Iran, Turkey and Georgia.

Presenting the young writers, AWU Chairman Levon Ananyan said that it has been a tradition to meet the young writers, critics and this year the young writers of Diaspora also participated. Highlighting the participation of the Diaspora, Mr. Ananyan noted that the culture and literature is the field that makes possible the Armenians to be preserved in the Diaspora, where young and capable young artists live. AWU Chairman handed NA Speaker the volumes of the series of “Mutk” (Entrance), which present the young writers and thanked for assisting the printing.

NA Speaker Artur Baghdasaryan congratulated the young writers on the occasion of printing of their first works and wished success, highlighting their participation in the cultural-literary life. The Parliament Speaker expressed readiness to assist the youth in future and the printing of “Mutk” book series.
