On February 15, a Memorandum of Cooperation on Creating Dialogue Platform of the Small and Medium Entrepreneurship (SME) adjunct to the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs was signed on behalf of the Committee Chair Babken Tunyan and the representatives of seven NGOs representing Small and Medium Entrepreneurs' interests.

The Committee Chair has informed that the goal of the creation of the platform is to provide stable dialogue between the organizations and the Committee representing the interests of the SME, as well as to reveal the legislative problems impeding the development of the SME, analyze them, present recommendations for legislative amendments to the Committee members.

According to Babken Tunyan, it is designed to organize debates, hearings on the legislative draft laws presented for the debate of the Committee and on the SME through the platform and come to united viewpoint.

The President of the SME Cooperation Association Hakob Avagyan thanked the Committee Chair and the members for the creation of the platform. In terms of having qualified legislation in relevant sphere he emphasized the constructive dialogue with the Committee.

The platform will function on a voluntary basis.
