On March 6, within the framework of the RA NA Open Doors the pupils and teachers and teachers of Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex visited the parliament.

The guests took a tour in the building of the parliament, observed the work of the NA regular sitting. Afterwards the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Vrazadat Karapetyan met with them and held an open lesson. The MPs Sofia Hovsepyan and Matevos Asatryan also took part in the meeting.

Then the speaker answered the pupils’ questions, which mainly related to the agriculture, the economic revolution agenda and the unification of the communities. In the context of the environmental problems they touched upon the damages of the use of tobacco in public places and the operation of Amulsar mining.

The MP Sofia Hovsepyan answered the questions concerning the educational sphere, particularly the problems concerning the secondary education and higher educational system, noting that the existing problems would be solved in due time through legislation.
