On April 16, the Head of the RA NA My Step Faction Lilit Makunts and the Head of the RA NA Armenia-Kazakhstan Parliamentary Friendship Group Vagharshak Hakobyan met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Timur Urazayev and the Deputy Head of the International Relations Office of Nur Otan Party Aliya Sakhariyeva.

Highly assessing the relations existing between the two countries the Ambassador has assured that Kazakhstan is concerned about deepening the effective cooperation with Armenia in bilateral, as well as multilateral formats, including the formats of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).

The representative of Nur Otan Party being majority in the Parliament of Kazakhstan proposed to more activate the cooperation with My Step Party.

The Head of the RA NA My Step Faction expressed her readiness for expanding the mutual relations between the two parties. Lilit Makunts touched upon the coordinated works of the delegations in the inter-parliamentary structures, highlighting the support to each other in the problems of bilateral interest.

Vagharshak Hakobyan proposed to cooperate in the parliamentary multilateral formats. He has informed that the visit of Armenia-Kazakhstan Parliamentary Friendship Group to Kazakhstan is designed.

Touching upon the multi-sphere agenda of bilateral cooperation, the interlocutors emphasized the expansion of trade-economic ties, documenting that there is still unused great potential of deepening the Armenian-Kazakh cooperation.
