On April 23, the RA National Assembly continued the work of the regular sittings.

The deputies ended the debate of the report on the annual activity of the National Commission on Television and Radio, listening to the final speech of the Commission Chair Tigran Hakobyan. Touching upon the deputies’ voiced questions and concerns, he noted that the Commission would make up the programme of the coming years, taking into consideration them.

The report was accepted as information.

The package of the draft laws on Amending the Law on Identification Cards and on Amending the Law on the RA Citizen’s Passport. According to the RA Deputy Head of Police Hovhannes Kocharyan, by the draft law it is proposed to establish as a deadline for providing old sample passports the year 2021 instead of 2019.

The parliament by voting passed this, as well as the draft laws debated on the previous day.
