On May 7, the RA National Assembly began the work of the regular sittings. The deputies approved the agendas of the session and the regular sittings, debated the item on including in the agenda of the second session of the RA NA seventh convocation the two legislative initiatives that received negative conclusion of the head committees.
As a result of debate, the draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Tax Code presented by the RA NA Prosperous Armenia Faction enjoyed the deputies’ approval and included in the session agenda.
Afterwards the parliament in the second reading debated the legislative package on Making Addendum to the RA Law on Advertisement and Making Addenda to the RA Code on Administrative Offences.
According to the author of the package Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, after being passed in the first reading the positive motives had already been noticeable.
Sofia Hovsepyan presented the endorsement of the Head Committee and the RA Deputy Minister of Education and Science Arevik Anapiosyan presented the positive opinion of the government.
Afterwards the MPs in the first reading debated the draft laws on Making Addenda and Amendments to the RA Law on Advertisement and on Amending the RA Law on Winning Games, Games via Internet Winning and Casinos.
The deputy Tsovinar Vardanyan presented the endorsement of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs.
The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Armen Hayrapetyan also presented the positive opinion of the government and the recommendations.
The deputies Gevorg Papoyan Gurgen Baghdasaryan, Anna Kostanyan, Babken Tunyan and Alen Simonyan presented the positions and the recommendations in general on the legislative initiative.
The deputy Mikayel Melkumyan presented the viewpoint of the RA NA Prosperous Armenia Faction, noting that they would vote for the draft package.
The RA Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan presented for debate in the second reading the package of the legislative initiative on Making Addenda and Amendments to the RA law on the Government Structure and Activity and the enclosed ones.
The deputy Vahagn Hovakimyan presented the endorsement of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs.
The Head of the Bright Armenia Faction Edmon Marukyan presented the viewpoint of the Faction and informed that they would be against the submitted Government structure.
Mikayel Melkumyan presented the viewpoint of the prosperous Armenia Faction and informed that they would vote against it.
The NA Deputy Speaker Alen Simonayn presented the viewpoint of My Step Faction and informed that they would for it.
In their final speeches Vahagn Hovakimyan and Artak Zeynalyan touched upon the deputies’ interpellations and gave clarifications.
The NA deputy Varazdat karapetyan in the first reading presented for debate the bill on Making Addendum to the RA Tax Code.
The Committee member Argishti Mekhakyan presented the endorsement of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs.
The RA Acting Minister of Agriculture Garnik Petrosyan presented the viewpoint of the Government.
The draft law on Amending the RA Law on Consumer Credit presented by the NA Bright Armenia Faction was also debated in the first reading.
The RA CB Deputy Chairman Nerses Yeritsyan has presented the conclusion of the Government and has noted that the executive body is not against the draft law.
In her final speech Mane Tandilyan referred to the voiced viewpoints.
Nerses Yeritsyan presented for debate in the first reading on Amending the RA Law on Consumer Credit, on Amending the RA Law on Currency Regulation and Currency Control and on Amending the RA Law on Credit Organizations.
The NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs gave an endorsement on the two initiatives.
The Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee Davit Ananyan presented for debate in the first reading the draft law on Amending the RA Tax Code.
The debate of the issue will be continued at May 8 sitting of the parliament.
At the last sitting of the day, under the RA Constitutional Law the NA Rules of Procedure, the RA NA deputies made statements.
