At May 24 extraordinary sitting moderated by Babken Tunyan the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs continued the debate of the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Tax Code and the package of the enclosed draft laws.

The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan presented the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on State Duty.

The NA deputies Hovik Aghazaryan, Varazdat Karapetyan and Babken Tunyan presented their viewpoints.

The MPs presented recommendations orally and in written form, which related to the excise tax, the leveling of the income tax and other various problems.

The Committee members endorsed the legislative package for including it in the draft laws of the agendas of the RA NA second session and the upcoming regular sittings.
