On June 21, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Ruben Rubinyan, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on European Integration Arman Yeghoyan and the members of the relevant committees met with the Head of the Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung/Foundation (KAS) Regional Office in South Caucasus Thomas Schrapel, the Head of the Yerevan Office of the Foundation Liana Marukyan and the Foreign Policy Advisor for the Parliamentary Group of CDU of FRG Christian-Democratic Union Christian Forneck.

Welcoming the guests in the parliament Ruben Rubinyan highly assessed the efforts of deepening bilateral relations and the readiness of implementing joint programs.

During the meeting the sides discussed the works of the above mentioned in the parliaments of the two countries and touched upon the main directions of the RA foreign policy.

The importance of more actively developing the effective cooperation of the two countries’ legislative bodies was highlighted.
