At June 28 extraordinary sitting moderated by Anna Karapetyan the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs in the first reading debated the draft law on Amending the RA Civil Procedure Code. According to the RA First Minister of Justice Artak Asatryan, the goal is to download the proceedings of the courts of the first instance.

The deputy Suren Grigoryan urged his colleagues to vote for it, considering important the adoption of the draft law.

Certain items on the Rights of the Convicted are regulated by the legislative package on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Criminal-Executive Code and on Making Amendment and Addenda to the RA law on Keeping Arrested and Detained Persons.

According to the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Tigran Khachikyan, recommendations have not been presented after the first reading.

The Committee members endorsed the draft laws for being included in the agenda of June 28 extraordinary session.
