On July 26, the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security moderated by Andranik Kocharyan debated the financial allocations and programmes of the RA Ministry of Emrgency Situations designed by the RA state budget for the coming year.

The Deputy Minister of the RA Emergency Situations Ara Nazaryan presented the amount of the financial allocations in different programmes.

Investrments of big amount have been made for the development of the Rescue Service System. It will cooperate with the Japan International Cooperation Agency and the Government of Japan, the UN Office, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the General Department of the Civil Service and the Humanitarian Aid Functions of the European Commission. The cooperation is approved within the frameworks of the NATO-Armenia Individual Partnership Plan, the CIS Inter-State Council of Elemental and Technogenic Disasters.

During the debate they touched upon the problems existing in the sphere, presented a number of recommendations, which those responsible for the sphere accepted.
