Ararat Mirzoyan’s Announcement on Resignation of NA Deputy Edgar Arakelyan

Under Paragraph 1 of Article 155 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Armenia ‘Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly,’ the deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Edgar Arakelyan submitted resignation on September 4.

Under Paragraph 1 of Article 155 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Armenia ‘Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly,’ if after issuance of the resignation, during one week the deputy takes back his application on resignation in written form, then the President of the Republic of Armenia makes an announcement, then a protocol is made up on suspension of his authorities, which signs and issues the President of the Republic of Armenia. The resignation is considered accepted after the issuance of the protocol,” the NA President’s announcement reads.
