On September 5, the members of the RA NA Bright Armenia Faction met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to the RA Ingrida Leverence (Residence in Tbilisi) and the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Latvia to Armenia Armen Ghasaboghlyan.

The Head of the Faction Edmon Marukyan highlighted the further development and the deepening of the Armenian-Latvian friendly relations.

The sides highly assessed the level of political dialogue existing between the two countries, evaluated the inter-parliamentary cooperation in the international structures.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia thanked Edmon Marukyan for the reception and assured that during his tenure he would do his best to develop and deepen the relations of the two countries and the activity of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Groups.
