At September 19 sitting, the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs debated the RA draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Tax Code authored by the government.

According to the key speaker, the Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee Davit Ananyan, the bill relates to the return of debts caused on 1 July 2017 on value added tax (VAT).

The sequence of covering the obligations on the VAT and the excise tax will also be revised by the adoption of the draft law.

In their speeches the MPs highlighted the amendments proposed in the draft law and underlined their readiness of returning the debit debts on the VAT.

The debated draft laws were endorsed by the Committee.
