On December 3, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport Mkhitar Hayrapetyan met with his colleague, the Chair of the Standing Committee on Education and Culture of the Parliament of Finland Paula Risikko. The Deputy Chair of the Committee Hovhannes Hovhannisyan also attended the meeting.

Officials on education and culture of the two countries’ legislative bodies discussed a number of issues related to the deepening of relations between the committees, the implementation of joint programmes and the exchange of experience.

The Committee Chairs agreed to send the experts of the NA Standing Committee to Helsinki next year to study the Finnish experience and to localize it in our country.
