On December 11, the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs at the extraordinary sitting moderated by Babken Tunyan discussed the draft law on Ratifying the Convention (amended by protocol of 2010) on Mutual Administrative Support on Tax Issues.

The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan noted that the document signed in Strasbourg on 25 January 1988. The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Council of Europe elaborated the Convention. In 2010, it was revised with the relevant Protocol. More than 100 countries signed the Convention.

According to Arman Poghosyan, the main goal is the creation of favourable conditions for the international cooperation.

The Deputy Minister also answered to the MPs’ questions.

The Committee endorsed the draft law.
