From January 26 to February 1, the RA NA delegation left for Strasbourg to take part in the works of the First Part of the Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. The Member of the RA NA Delegation to PACE, the Member of My Step Faction Vladimir Vardanyan was elected Chairman of the Human Rights Sub-Committee of PACE Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights, as well as Representative of PACE Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights in the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission).

The Member of the RA NA Delegation to PACE, the Head of Bright Armenia Faction Edmon Marukyan was elected First Deputy Chairman of PACE Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights.

The Member of the RA NA Delegation to PACE, the Member of My Step Faction Hovhannes Igityan was elected Deputy Chairman of the Political Group Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe /ALDE/.

The Member of the RA NA Delegation to PACE, the Member of My Step Faction Sos Avetisyan was elected Deputy Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Media and Information Society of PACE Committee on Culture, Science, Education and Media, as well as Substitute of Representative of PACE Committee on Culture, Science, Education and Media in the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI).
