I learnt with deep sorrow of the untimely death of Ruben Shugaryan, one of the best diplomats of the history of independent Armenia. The memories are still warm from our last meeting in the previous year in Boston, where he has lived and taught in Tufts University.
Rest in peace. We lost not only a brilliant diplomat, but also an exemplary citizen of principle.
