At May 19 regular sitting moderated by Artak Manukyan the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs debated in the first reading the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Civil Code authored by the Bright Armenia Faction. The document was endorsed by voting.

The law on Making Amendments and Addendum to the Law on Attraction of Bank Deposits and the package of the enclosed draft laws authored by the NA deputies Artak Manukyan, Varazdat Karapetyan, Babken Tunyan was debated in the first reading.

The draft law was endorsed for being included in the draft laws of the agendas of the session and the upcoming regular sittings by voting.

The Committee members debated the draft law on Making Amendment and Addendum to the Law on Currency Regulation and Currency Control authored by the NA deputies Artak Manukyan and Varazdat Karapetyan. The Committee endorsed the bill.

The MPs debated the draft law on Amending the Law on Guarantee of Compensation for the Banking Deposits of Physical Persons presented by the NA deputy Mikayel Melkumyan.

The position of the Government was not negative. As a result of debate, the draft law was endorsed for being included in the draft law of the upcoming regular sittings.

The draft laws on Amending the RA Law on Banking Secrecy authored by the Government and on Making Addenda to the RA Law on Consumer Credit authored by the NA deputies Artak Manukyan and Varazdat Karapetyan were debated in the second reading and endorsed.

The Coordinating Expert of Budget Office Gagik Barseghyan presented to the Committee members a report on the works done in the first quarter of 2020 of the Budget Office.

The reelection of the Chair of the Sub-Committee on Audit Affairs of the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs was held. The NA deputy Yeghishe Soghomonyan was elected the Chair of the Sub-Committee.
