On June 10, the RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs moderated by Narek Zeynalyan convened its regular sitting.

The Committee debated the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Labor Code authored by the RA NA deputies Tsovinar Vardanyan, Sona Ghazaryan, Lusine Badalyan, Armen Pambukhchyan, Narek Zeynalyan.

The co-speaker, the RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arman Udumyan highlighted the idea of the bill, presenting some editorial amendments. The draft law was endorsed.

Narek Zeynalyan presented for debate of the Committee the package of the draft laws on Making Addenda to the Law on Medical Aid and Service of Population and on Making Addenda to the Law on Protection of Population in Emergency Situations.

The MPs’ questions related to the definitions and provisions concerning the emergency situations.

The co-speaker the RA First Deputy Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan noted that complex new legislative initiative was presented, and the Government was for the proposals in the conceptual aspect.

In accordance with Paragraph 5 of Part 4 of Article 78 of the Constitutional Law the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly the voting of the draft law on Making Addenda to the RA Law on State Allowances was postponed for revising it.
