Legislative Initiative on State and Commercial Organizations Debated

At July 15 extraordinary sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment moderated by Varazdat Karapetyan, the draft law on Making Amendment and Addendum to the RA Law on State and Commercial Organizations authored by the Government was debated.

The key speaker, the Chairman of the RA State Property Management Committee Narek Babayan has informed that the goal is to raise the efficiency of the state property management, promote the increase of the state budget incomes, as well as to implement transparent and public the process of providing property tenancy, stipulated by the right to free use of the state non-commercial organizations.

According to Narek Babayan,, essential amendments were made also in the process of providing tenancy.

Underlining the urgency of the draft law debate, Varazdat Karapetyan has noted that the process of re-signing the tenancy treaties has already begun, and there is need of regulating by law.

The questions addressed to the key speaker related to the steps taken for financially strengthening the communities and the issue of tenancy provision.

The Standing Committee endorsed the debated draft law.
