On September 1, the Speaker of the RA National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan, being in Stepanakert on a working visit on the occasion of Independence Day of Artsakh Republic, met with the President of Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan.

The Speaker of Armenia’s Parliament Ararat Mirzoyan underlined that a few years ago with the support of Armenians throughout the world the Armenians of Artsakh succeeded exercising their right to live independently at the price of great human losses and creating a statehood for the existence and development of which the RA authorities assumed greatest responsibility.

Welcoming the RA NA Speaker’s visit to Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan has documented that though festive events will not be held conditioned by pandemic, nevertheless September 2 does not lose the meaning of all-Armenian holiday, as the independence of Artsakh has been an achievement and an implementation of great dream for all Armenians.

After the private conversation, the expanded meeting of the deputies of the RA NA My Step Faction with Arayik Harutyunyan was held.

At the meeting, issues regarding the cooperation of two Armenian states, the further expansion of the inter-parliamentary relations, as well as the partnership in different spheres were discussed.
