On September 7, the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs moderated by Vladimir Vardanyan continued the sitting interrupted on September 3.

The bill on Amending the RA Code on Administrative Offences authored by the RA Government was discussed in the first reading. The key speaker, the Head of the RA State Revenue Committee Edvard Hovhannisyan has informed that amendments are proposed to be made.

The Committee members discussed in the first reading the bill on Making Addenda to the RA Criminal Code authored by the MPs Artur Davtyan, Arpine Davoyan, Sergey Atomyan and Koryun Mkrtchyan.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Vahe Danielyan voiced the negative attitude of the Government on the initiative.

The voting of the draft law was postponed to revise it on the basis of the recommendations presented by the MPs.

The draft law on Amending the RA Civil Code authored by the RA NA Deputy Speaker Alen Simonyan also was discussed in the first reading.

The Committee members mainly welcomed the initiative and talked about its efficiency.

The draft law on Making Addenda to the RA Criminal Code authored by the RA NA Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan, the Head of the NA My Step Faction Lilit Makunts, the deputies of the Faction Vladimir Vardanyan, Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, Arusyak Julhakyan, Sargis Khandanyan, Arsen Jukfalakyan, Taguhi Ghazaryan and Gor Gevorgyan.

Afterwards the draft law on Making Addenda to the Constitutional Law Judicial Code authored by the MP Arman Babajanyan was debated in the second reading.

The debated items were endorsed.

  The RA draft law on Making Amendment and Addendum to the RA Criminal Procedure Code authored by the RA NA deputies Sona Ghazaryan and Sergy Atomyan was discussed in the second reading.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Vahe Danielyan informed that the recommendations authored by the Government were accepted.

The Deputy Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Arsen Ayvazyan presented the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on the RA Investigative Committee authored by the Government.
