On October 9, the Head of the NA Armenia-Ukraine Friendship Group Hovhannes Igityan Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Armenia Ivan Kuleba.

During the meeting the parties touched upon a wide scope of issues related to the agenda of the Armenian-Ukrainian relations. The perspectives of the development of the inter-parliamentary partnership were highlighted.

The interlocutors underlined the important role of the national communities in Armenia and Ukraine in the strengthening of traditionally friendly ties between the two peoples.

Special attention was drawn to the geopolitical hard situation and in the region and its settlement. The Ambassador stressed the interest of the Ukrainian side in the urgent settlement of the conflict by peaceful means.
