On December 2, the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration moderated by Mikayel Melkumyan was held.

The item on Ratifying the Agreement on the Peculiarities of Implementation of Operations with Precious Metals and Precious Stones in the Frameworks of the Eurasian Economic Union was debated. The RA Deputy Minister of Economy Varos Simonyan noted that the Agreement was signed in Moscow on 22 November 2019.

The Agreement creates favourable conditions for the improvement of the business environment, and the move of the jewelry and other kinds of products on the territory of the EEU member states is simplified.

At the sitting, the candidacy of Aleksey Sandikov from the NA My Step Faction was nominated for the vacant seat of Deputy Chair of the Committee. As a result of voting, the candidate was elected.
