At the End of Extraordinary Sitting Debated Legislative Packages Passed

At the end of February 3 extraordinary sitting, the MPs debated the bill on Amending the Law on Amending the Law on Social Assistance and the legislative package enclosed to it already in the second reading and for completely passing it.

The RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Mesrop Arakelyan noted that the item had been debated in the Head Committee, and amendments in the content had not almost been.

Mesrop Arakelyan highlighted the real establishment of the Institute for Social Employees and Social Assistants.

In his co-report the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs Narek Zeynalyan noted that as a result of creation of the united social service, we would have a united system of the social needs evaluation.

The legislative package on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Constitutional Law the RA Judicial Code and on Making Addenda to the Law on Justice Academy was also debated in the second reading. Minister Rustam Badasyan informed that three amendments had been made, which had not been of conceptual character.

In his co-report the member of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Suren Grigoryan presented the endorsement of the Committee.

The Secretary of the Prosperous Armenia Faction Arman Abovyan has touched upon the viewpoints that the war has been over, and the life goes on. “Nothing has finished, and nothing will not finish,” he said. According to the MP, they do not find expedient to move with the agendas, which do not comply with the created situation.

Alen Simonyan presented the viewpoint of My Step Faction. Opposing the viewpoints of the Prosperous Armenia Faction representatives, he noted that the latter could not submit a proposal for the citizen. “We have been honest with our citizens, we have been chosen. Yes, many people, perhaps, are disappointed because of our many mistakes. We will talk with them, they will judge us, they will bring us to this hall or they will not bring, but you as had no relationship with them in the past, as well as in the future,” he said.

At the end of the extraordinary sitting the MPs by voting passed the debated legislative packages.
