On February 9, the National Assembly convened the regular sittings.

In relation to the draft law of the agenda the deputy of the NA Bright Armenia Faction Taron Simonyan noted that at least one out of 16 items included in the agenda could relate to the challenges facing the country.

The Speaker of the parliament Ararat Mirzoyan informed that the opposition did not take part in the NA Council sitting and did not present proposals on the items being included in the agenda of the regular sitting. The NA President has underlined that the items of positive influence for the continuation of the regular activity of the state are on the agenda.

The Head of the RA NA My Step Faction Lilit Makuts has noted that the priority is given to the items aimed at solving exclusively the post-war problems, but there are also other priorities, which shall not be ignored, and no institute shall be left idle.

According to Edmon Marukyan, the parliamentary majority is against the draft laws presented by their faction, and they do not include them in the agenda. He has also noted that they are constructive and are ready to work.
