At March 17 sitting, the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs in the first reading debated the bill on Ratifying the Protocol on Amending the Article 56 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation and namesake one more draft law, by which it was proposed amend the provision 'a' of Article 50 of the Convention.

The RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Armen Simonyan noted that the Convention was signed in 1944, and it entered into force for our country from 1992. It was recorded that as a result of ratifying the Protocol, more countries would have an opportunity to be involved in the Committee on Air Navigation. The Committee endorsed the draft laws.
