On March 19, on the initiative of the Head of the Austria-South Caucasus Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Austrian National Council Gudrun Kugler and the Head of the RA NA Armenia-Austria Friendship Parliamentary Group Viktor Yengibaryan the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors of two countries Armen Papikyan and. Alois Kraut took part in the online meeting of two Friendship Groups.

In response to Austrian colleagues, the RA NA deputies informed about the situation created as a result of the Artsakh last war, the process of the implementation of the statement on November 9, deconstructive and inhuman behavioor of Azerbaijan in the problem of the captives’ return.

The special guest of the meeting the Honorary Doctor of the NAS Jasmin Dum-Tragut made a report on the protection of Artsakh cultural heritage.

Ideas were exchanged on the COVID 19 case management procedure in two countries.

The Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group Gudrun Kugler thanked the participants noting that Austria would never leave alone Armenia and was ready for deeper cooperation.

Viktor Yengibaryan in his turn expressed his gratitude for the discussions held in the Austrian Parliament and for the adopted statement during the war.
