Working Discussion with Representatives of RA Ministry of Health

On March 27-28, the RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs in the framework of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Modern Parliament for a Modern Armenia organized a working discussion with the representatives of the Ministry of Health.

The investment concept of the Comprehensive Health Insurance was discussed during a working meeting, according to which, the law on Comprehensive Health Insurance (CHI) will be revised and adopted. The subject of the settlement will be the definition of the circle of the insured persons and beneficiaries and the insurance object.

It is designed to eliminate a number of restrictions on the persons who have infertility by the draft law on Amending the RA Law on Human Reproductive Health and Reproductive Rights. It will boost the birth rate of the population. The liberalization of the provisions of the law is more topical by the logic that the birth rate is the strategic issue of our country.

The issue on the investment of the clinical residency model was also discussed. The legislative regulations will create an opportunity for the stabilization of clinical residency real model that is mostly adjusted to the localized model of the postgraduate medical specialization.
